When Julien Richmond began marketing the original screw anchor in 1911, the concrete accessory industry was born. In 1924, Dayton Sure-Grip & Shore was established with primary products including snap ties, shores, and hangars. Today, this brand group, through the Dayton Superior supply chain management team, manufactures and distributes over 1,200 specialty concrete accessories.

Synko-Flex® Preformed Plastic Adhesive Waterstop is specially formulated non-swelling preformed joint sealant that provides, watertight bond to fresh and cured concrete surfaces. Synko-Flex® is a single-component, self-sealing adhesive compound. Hydro-Flex® Waterstop is a preformed self-adhesive hydrophilic waterstop designed to swell in the presence of water; this allows it to penetrate into poorly consolidated concrete surfaces.
