Referring Sources

Google will show you the sources of visitors to your website. This will help you decide where to best spend your advertising budget. You need to develop a summary spreadsheet to watch these stats over time. Here is an example spreadsheet.

None means that the person typed in the website address or had it bookmarked.
Organic
means search engine referrals from their standard listings.
Referral means another site referring to your site. If you have paid per-click advertising they will be reported here also.
